Onesies for the wee one...

I discovered that art of freezer paper stenciling from Dana, over at MADE. It's soooooooo fun and easy!! I did a few onesies as a baby shower gift for some friends of ours back in December and just knew I would have to do the same for our own little guy (due march 1st).

I have a few more to do.. BUT.... I think I need some new freezer paper. The roll I bought when I did my first project somehow ended up in the [freezing cold] garage and I think that the cold somehow affected the way it adheres to the fabric. When I did my first onesies the paper peeled off no problem. This time though.... it was REALLY stuck on there, and my paint bled at the edges. :(

I thought it might have just been a fluke or something with the first one that I did (the camera), but the other two were the same way. :( I was actually pretty bummed because I was very excited about the Nor Cal top, and it bled pretty bad. So, I'm heading to the store today to buy some NEW freezer paper to finish the other onesies and  to do the older kids Valentines Day tops. ;)

But.... until then.... here are a few snaps of the ones I did do. ;)

eNjOy!!

Being due March 1st... I'm willing to bet money he'll be here by St Pattys day, in time to wear this one!
A friendly nod to his daddy's home state of California....
Pretty sure this one speaks for itself.... ;) And you better believe I will be making this one again for the other kids... and for when little man gets bigger.
